RE: Monthly Meeting

Hi Michelle,

I am sorry but I will not be able to attend your meeting on Monday the 18th.  We have a planned Selectmen’s workshop scheduled from 6:30 – 7:30 and then the regular Selectmen’s meeting begins.  For your information, I presented the police station HVAC zoning recommendation from the Energy Audit to the BoS.  They agreed to do it as part of the ceiling work. It should be complete within the week.

Hi All,

Just a reminder that we will hold our monthly meeting next Monday, June 18th at 7pm at Town Hall.  I am going to invite two women who were interested in sharing ideas at the Atkinson Vision Meeting held last week at the Community Center, to attend our meeting.

Bill, we invite you to join us to share the progress you've made on the Energy Conservation Measures and to discuss what we can do to help prepare for future initiatives, as well as what was discussed at the "Utilities Table" last week.

Michelle

Tentative Agenda:

Discuss Energy Report Progress
Discuss Lighting Progress/Needs
Discuss Atkinson Vision Meeting
Brainstorming Plans for Fall

GPS

Hi Tim,

Michael Mascola, an Energy Commission member, is looking into doing a street light inventory in town and needs a GPS to do it.  Would it be possible for him to use the Conservation GPS, if it doesn't conflict with any of Conservation's needs?

Many thanks for your consideration!
Michelle

RE: Announcement - RPCs Regional Energy Workshop

All,

There isn’t a lot to talk about with our success on energy fairs and presentations. I’d really like to hear other success stories that we could model after that could potentially benefit us in the future.

I’m assuming that other communities have also done the Energy inventory and audits. Is this a bad assumption?

Michael

Hi All,

Julie LaBranche asked if we would be interested in presenting our work.  I told her we would consider talking about the Energy Inventory, Chapter and Audit, but a little hesitant to talk about fairs, etc.  Although, I also think a frank discussion about challenges of motivating people to change is relevant to all.  Thoughts?

Hi All,

I'm attending - hope you can too!  If we got everyone to go, we could replace our meeting with this one for April (and carpool, of course!).  Just a thought ...
