RE: Town Building Audits

Michelle, All

I can attend for a couple/few hours. Sounds like Marty is available for most of the day.

Michelle, if you could tell me what time you need to leave for your meeting, I can cover that remaining time. Then Marty & I will spend time with Ed.

Michael

Town Building Audits

Hi Everyone,

Ed Mailloux of Unitil will do a energy efficiency walk-through of all of our town buildings on Tuesday with David Weymouth. Ed will be at the Town Hall on Tuesday at 9:30. I will try to stay for most of the walk-throughs, but I have a seminar up north the next day and need some time to prepare last minute registrations, etc. Can anyone else do part of the day? I think it's important that the committee is aware of recommendations and concerns that might not end up in a final report.

Atkinson Energy Fair

Hi everyone,

Update here on my end. I thought the energy fair went very well Saturday. The vendors did a wonderful job with their displays and information. I look forward to next years fair.

After the fair on Saturday night, my wife and I took an inventory of every light bulb in the house and went shopping. We replaced almost every bulb in our home with a CFL. There were a lot of bulbs to change. We had trouble locating a dimmable version of the CFL in the stores but did find them online.

Any suggestions as to what to do with all the incandescent bulbs that we took out? I would hate to toss them.

Energy-saving tips at fair

Jim Garrity thought you'd want to see this story at the The Eagle-Tribune website (http://www.eagletribune.com)
Energy-saving tips at fair
ATKINSON - The Atkinson Energy Efficiency Committee is hosting an energy fair Saturday to help people reduce their bills. Information on alternative energy source opportunities and simple efficiency tips promise to help reduce everyone's energy bill a bit this winter, according to committee member Michael Mascola.

Lawrence Eagle Tribune

All,

I just got off the phone with Meghan Carey from the Lawrence Eagle Tribune. Meghan said that our energy fair is in today's paper. If you happen to get the paper, please check.

Thanks,

Michael

Need to borrow mobile video camera for Atkinson Energy Fair

Dear David:
The Atkinson Energy Efficiency Fair is this Saturday (Oct 27) from 9am - 1pm.
We would like to borrow one of ACTV-20's mobile video cameras so that we can do interviews with energy fair vendors, experts, etc. during the event. Then it could be made available to Channel 20 for re-broadcast.
Denise Jackson, who is a member of the Energy Efficiency Committee, knows how to use the equipment.
Can we use the camera? When should we pick it up? etc.
Please advise. Thank you!
